"Live events is a very wide area within my work. It includes acting, working as an MC, presenting and producing for outside broadcasts and more. There is nothing more exhilarating and nerve-wracking than working live but the adrenaline and the opportunity to interact with your audience makes this format my favourite. My next step is to work on more sporting and food events before aiming for national exhibitions and shows!"

I have recently celebrated 5 years since my first work as a commentator and have developed my list of sports and events that I have worked on in this area. My experience includes water polo, wheelchair basketball, motorsport, swimming, triathlon and modern pentathlon.

Show Calling: In Dusseldorf for the Invictus Games 2023, I was first challenged to 'show call' and ended up live directing over 15 hours of action for swimming, table tennis and cycling. This included directing an announcer, field of play floor manager, camera operator, DJ and graphics operator, as well as liaising with broadcast partners, ISB. The action involved a number of different sport events, medal ceremonies and breaks in play. Since then, I have show called national swimming events, multi-sport competitions and a growing number of projects across the industry.
